Little Oak gets a caravan

Posted by littleoaktherapies on September 18, 2008 at 10:32 AM Comments comments (0)

That's right folks, I've truly embraced my 30's and now not only do I own a shed, I also own a caravan!  It'll be curlers and a purple rinse next...

So next year we'll be out and about with the Little Oak Trade stand with built in heating for those less than dry summer day's we've been having lately!  It'll make a change from having the tent and having to get rid of the puddles off of the top, but boy will I miss my massage tent, it's been great for us for the last two years.  However, trying to put it up in the middle of a lake is a challenge to say the least.

So, we've been out and purchased a Fleetwood Colchester 1150/2 caravan will full awning so it'll be making it's debut at the 2009 Endurance GB events where we'll be able to offer an even better level of comfort to our clients at future events whilst you relax after your ride.

Congratulations to Jeni Gilbert!

Not only is she Endurance GB Supreme Champion 2007, our Jeni did us proud winning the 160km national class at the Dukeries Endurance GB ride at the weekend.

Well, that was exciting!

There I was with "Little Oak Lite" our massage gazebo, when Adam Henson of Countryfile popped in for a massage after riding the first day of Golden Horseshoe in preparation for going out the next day.  The whole of the BBC team were lovely, and hopefully, even though Adam unfortunately had the disappointment of not going out again due to Windsor, the horse he was loaned, being vetted out on day two, they'll be back next year to take on the challenge of Exmoor once again.

BBC IPlayer

Don't blink or you'll miss me... I appear with Adam around 46 minutes into the programme

After training in Thai Foot massage.

I've had a fantastic time training with Leigh Shepherd of London Therapists learning this wonderful new therapy routine.

I can't wait to offer this to my clients, it's fabulously relaxing and feels very luxurious.

Even though it involves very gentle stretching, my muscles felt like they'd had a workout.

Have confirmed my attendance with the event tent for the 2008 season.

The first ride organiser to respond, it's really exciting and should be good.

To all of the Endurance GB ride organisers who very kindly allowed me to attend the EGB events last year.

Just have to wait for confirmation that I can attend in 2008 now
