Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you accept credit/debit card payments for treatments?

Unfortunately Kerry is unable to accept credit/debit card payments at this time.  Kerry does however accept both cash and cheque payments.

Q: What will happen when I arrive?

Kerry will make sure you are comfortable and ask you a series of questions in order to complete a client consultation form (which gives Kerry a better idea of the massage you would like and also checks for contra-indications to massage i.e. any reasons Kerry should not proceed with or would need to adjust your massage), she will then ask for you to “hop onto” the massage table and your treatment will begin.

Q: How long is an appointment?

Kerry offers a full hour treatment which would generally take the form of a full body relaxation massage. If you have a specific problem, Kerry will treat the problem first which will generally take about 30 minutes and then the rest of the time is then used for a more general treatment.

Q: Should I talk to the therapist or remain silent for the duration of my treatment?

We suggest that you talk with Kerry on arrival and give her an understanding of the type of massage and pressure that you like if you are a frequent massage recipient. If it is your first massage ask as many questions as you need to in order to feel comfortable with what will be happening during your session.

Once the massage begins you can talk a little if you are nervous but we strongly suggest that you just relax and enjoy your pampering session as that’s what you are there to do. Kerry will not be upset if you are quiet during your massage.

On many occasions Kerry's client’s fall asleep during their session. If you do fall asleep, that’s quite ok, Kerry will wake you gently to ask you to turn over so that she can continue with the other side of your body and again wake you at the end of your session if you have drifted back off to sleep.

Q: Do you treat male clients?

Yes, Kerry does treat male clients.  All treatments are carried out to a professional standard and are purely for the health of the client.  Under no circumstances do Little Oak Complementary Therapies offer any services of a sexual nature.
